Two fun filled days of horseback riding, education, and crafts. An excellent way to introduce children to the exciting world of horses, horseback riding and horsemanship, and a great intensive two days of riding for the more experienced children. Children will learn to groom, tack, bathe, and work around horses in addition to 3-4 hours each day of actual riding time. Interspersed in the fun, children will also learn the skills and responsibilities that go with enjoying horses. Suitable for ages 8-16. No prior experience is required.
Natural Horsemanship Riding Camps
Campers will learn skills and participate in:

- Safe Handling and Leading
- Horse Care Basics
- Proper Horse Grooming and Tools
- Tack Use and Care
- Training Basics and Safety
- Basic Western or English Riding Skills (6+ hours of riding)
- Riding Basics
- Intermediate Riding
- Advanced Riding Maneuvers
- Horse Communication and Training
- Games on Horseback

Young Riders Horseback Riding Camps
The JBIT Ranch also offers a young riders camp geared towards new riders ages 5-7. No prior experience is required. This camp is a single-day camp. Camp includes learning to groom, tack, and lead the horses as well as mounted riding lessons. Games, horse safety, and a picnic lunch round out this fun day at the farm!
